On monday the 22nd of July I was invited to attend the SME4Labour Summer Reception by my good friend Ibrahim Dogus, the kebab king!
For my industry role I try to attend as many events as I can do as they are extremely useful for making new contacts and the knowledge you can gain is invaluable.
This event took place in the Churchill Room in the House of Commons, it is the first time I have been in this room for an event and as the weather was pretty nice and there were a lot invited to the event it was extremely warm. The event was attended by industry leaders and many politicians, and as you can imaging after the election result it was quite a jubalent atmosphere. It was great to hear that small businesses are in the thoughts of the new Government and hopefully they will engage with the sector so we can help shape policy and encorage growth.
