On Wednesday the 24th of July I was asked to appear live on BBC Breakfast to talk about farmers moving away from growning potatoes in favour of othere more profitable crops. I had done a prerecoreded interview on monday over Zoom from a hotel I was staying in whilst I was in London but they wanted my in Blackpool on Wednesday morning to speak to their correspondent Nina Warhurst.

I was also joined by a farmer from Ormskirk called Robin Cropper. I had met Robin some 15 years ago at a meeting organised by the old Potato Council so it was good to catch up. Thanks must got to Seniors in Blackpool for hosting the day. I also did several BBC regional radio stations on Wednesday and Thursday. It is great to get the chance to represent the fish and chip industry in the media.
